the BICOASTAL REVIEW
Bicoastal Review is a nonprofit publisher committed to fostering creative and cross-genre conversations among poets and writers whose works and theories are helping to shape the contemporary literary scene. We're opening gates for poetry (free verse or formal), nonfiction, essays, reviews, photography, and occasional fiction from our beloved coastal communities. We publish writing that provides a lens into varied schools of thought and showcases epiphany and mastery of language.
We believe this collective of voices will circumscribe a study of American writing that highlights the movements, ruptures, and allegiances happening simultaneously on opposite ends of the nation. This does not mean writers from the "in-between" are not welcome to submit, and we encourage international writers to send in their work.
